[Example] Sofa cushion material
Ultimately, since it's just one process, we were able to propose cost reductions! Here is an example of the cushion material for the sofa.
We are currently purchasing batting that has a sheet adhered to the surface of the cotton through a separate process, but we received a request asking, "Is there a way to reduce costs further?" The reason for adhering the sheet is that it allows for writing letters or drawing diagrams on the surface during cutting, providing convenience in the process. However, it was mentioned that it does not matter what the sheet is made of. We utilized the three card machines installed on the same line of our non-woven fabric line, designating one machine for feeding materials that can be turned into sheets, allowing us to create a production line for batting with sheets in a single process. Ultimately, since it is a single process, we were able to propose a cost reduction. 【Case Study】 ■ Request - We want to reduce costs further. ■ Result - Utilized the three card machines installed on the same non-woven fabric line. - Designated one machine for feeding materials that can be turned into sheets. - Created a production line for batting with sheets in a single process. - Ultimately proposed a cost reduction since it is a single process. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
